Can a screw in my tyre be repaired?
Often, yes. If the screw is in the central part of the tread and the hole is no bigger than 6mm, the tyre can normally be repaired under British Standard BS AU 159. If it's in the shoulder or sidewall, the tyre must be replaced. Leave the screw in until we check it.
